Wedding Attire

It really all comes down to the dress.  I am telling ya!  I love the whole idea of the white dress, even though I can’t keep anything white looking clean.  Be sure on my wedding day, there will be a Tide To-Go Stick close by.  The “wedding white” includes creamy shades such as eggshell, ecru … Continue reading

We all know it’s observed on the last Monday of May, that’s … Continue reading

Light My Fire

A lighthouse is a tower designed to emit light, we all know that!  Lighthouses span thousands of years.  Light was first emitted from a fire.  They were used as an aid in navigation for ships at sea or on inland waterways.  They also mark dangerous coastlines, hazardous shoals and reefs, and safe entries to harbors, and can also assist in aerial navigation.  I always think … Continue reading

That’s just the beginning! Where do these traditions stem from?  Some can be traced back to … Continue reading

M is for MOM

Happy Mother’s Day!  Today is the celebration of Mother’s Day in the United States.  Not every country celebrates Mother’s Day on the same day, but it is typically in either March, April or May.  Since it was such a gorgeous day today, my Mom came over and we took my 3 boys on a walk … Continue reading

Scott & Brandi Tie the Knot

Last night we celebrated the wedding of our friend’s Scott and Brandi Toro!  It was a wonderful time at the quaint train station in downtown Quakertown with plenty of wine, music and friends.  We couldn’t be happier for them!  Of course there’s a card too!  I just love the cake embellishment.

Are you ready for Mother’s Day?

Mother’s Day is already here…almost.  I am not sure where the time went, but it kind of freaks me out that Mother’s Day is already on Sunday.  Wasn’t it just Christmas?  I am still cleaning pine needles out of the cracks of my hundred year old wood floors.  This year, my New Years Resolution was to be … Continue reading
