May 2nd each year is my fiance and me’s anniversary. Typically, I always remember and make a card. The card from last year for our 8th anniversary had to have been one of my favorites. I based my idea off of a tattoo type sketch. If I had the time, I would love to tattoo people! So, I sketched out 2 love birds intertwined in a scroll with our names on it, and I loved how it turned out! I colored it red with a permanent Sharpy, cut it out and layered it onto a few other pieces of card stock. Inside was not as elaborate, but it didn’t need to be. Just simple and to the point. I used some fun love stamps on the left side of the card, and added my mushy love note on the other. Word to the wise – don’t forget a card on your anniversary…men! LOL
